Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Gaya is situated on Dhobi-Sherghati Road inside the Army Service Corps (North), Paharpur Campus. The Vidyalaya is around 8 Kms away from the Gaya Railway Station and 7 kms from Bodh Gaya, the birth place of Mahatma Buddha.
The Vidyalaya was established in the year 1979. The building takes the (L) shape. Since the Vidyayalaya is situated inside the ASC Centre Campus so the environment is full of greenery and suitable for education. The Vidyalaya also hosts the KVS Regional and National Games.

Today, under the guidance of Sh. Sudhakar Singh, Principal, this Vidyalaya has turned into a beautiful garden. This Vidyalaya has become a centre of attraction among the parents for the result and also for the facilities provided. In the year 2007, Principal’s Conference was held in this Vidyalaya. This Vidyalaya has also hosted the Tritya Sopan Camp for Scouts and Guides. The Students are also medically examined every year. The students also get opportunity to visit Bodh Gaya and other historical places.
